Marc Riolacci, qui était jusqu'à samedi matin l'inamovible président de la Ligue corse de football (LCF) depuis 16 ans n'a pas été reconduit dans ses fonctions au terme de l'assemblée générale élective qui s'est déroulée à Borgo. Une seule liste, celle qu'il conduisait, était pourtant en lice pour la désignation du comité directeur. A l'évidence, son message n'est plus passé auprès des représentants des clubs.
Marc Riolacci, en effet, n'a pas réussi à obtenir le nombre de suffrages indispensables pour aspirer siéger, une fois encore, au sein du comité directeur.
Dès lors les membres élus, parmi lesquels Jean-René Moracchini prévu pour être le vice-président de la ligue aux côtés de Marc Riolacci, ont dû, un peu pris au dépourvu, procéder à la désignation
d'un nouveau président.
C'est celui qui était jusqu'alors trésorier de la LCF qui a été élu à la présidence.
"Je devais être le numéro 2, si Marc Riolacci avait été élu" expliquait-il un peu plus tard au micro de nos confrères de RCFM.
Le nouveau président de la LCF n'a toutefois pas manqué de saluer le travail de Marc Riolacci à la tête de la structure. " Il s'est beaucoup consacré à la Ligue et je tiens à saluer, comme il
se doit, son départ. Quant à moi, il n'était absolument pas prévu que je devienne président de cette ligue. Mais maintenant, c'est fait. Je vais assumer, comme il convient, cette tâche".

C'est l'ouragan Sindy qui a frappé la LCF !! Mr Riolacci en est complètement abasourdi... Comme quoi, à n'importe quel âge on peut prendre des claques !
